Bhavari is singing in Madhuvan

प्रिये याद बहुत तुम आती हो ,
जब नभ में बदली छाती हैं !
सावन की घन घोर घटा
जब मेघ उमड़ कर आती,
लहराती हो मृग नयनी सी
जब खेतो में हरियाली होती हैं,
क्षितिज के पार तुम बैठी हो,
पुष्प लताओं में खिलते
गगन से पड़ती चाँद की किरणे
चमेली सी खिल जाती हो,
देख लो तुम प्रिये
चमन हर्षित कितने,
आज पुल्कित हैं कितना,
पवन मेघ ले कर के आये
मयुर आज नाचत छम छम
भवरी मधुवन में गावत हैं
कोयल की जब आती हैं आवाज प्रिये,
प्रिये याद बहुत तुम आती हो
जब नभ में बदली छाती हैं .
