“Plight of hindi”
look from parliament to court
Look from school to village!
All are dominated by one language,
language of all nations among themselves
if this happens in india
No one was lonely!
There was no separation,
no hatred in the name of language
we share with each other
We would know each other’s pain!
from east to west,
from north to south
all had the same language name
everyone had respect
Everyone had an identity!
There would not have been two or three pieces of Kashmir,
There would have been no separation in Kashmir today,
There was no militancy in Assam
Neither Sikh would have Khalistan,
no name of pakistan
Nor would Bengal have a separate identity.
What a lovely country
India would have been great!
language clashed,
Who will make it now?
no name, no respect
no one recognized it
before western civilization
no one believes it
He is neither Hind, nor is he Hindi now
Now it’s just an English language
