Shafali Verma is an Indian female cricketer. Shafali Verma plays for the India women’s national cricket team. Early life

Shafali Verma was born on January 28, 2004 (Wednesday) in Rohtak, Haryana, India to a middle-class Hindu family. Her father’s name is Sanjeev Verma and her mother’s name is Praveen Bala. Shafali has an older brother named Sahil Verma. She did her studies at Mandeep Higher Secondary School, Rohtak, Haryana. Her education is 9th Standard. In the year 2020, she will sit for her 10th standard exam. Shafali’s father, Sanjeev Verma, took her to the local field to practice and rewarded her with 5 rupees for every six. Career

Prior to international cricket, she played for Velocity in the Women’s T20 Challenge in which she scored 34 from 31 balls. In September 2019, the cricketer was picked in the India Twenty20 International (WT20I) women’s team for the series against the South African women’s cricket team. Shafali made her WT20I debut for India at the age of just 15 against South Africa on 24 September 2019. She played for the Sydney Sixers in the 2021 WBBL, where she scored her first fifty against the Hobart Hurricanes. In January 2022, she was named in the India squad for the 2022 Cricket Women’s World Cup in New Zealand.
